Welcome to DoodleMania. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use DoodleMania. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
2. Accountless Sessions
DoodleMania does not require a customer account or login. When you use the app, it creates a pseudonymous, device-bound authorization session to protect rooms, moderation, and purchases. You are responsible for activity from your device session. Do not share room host credentials with others, and notify us if you believe your session is compromised at support@doodlemania.app.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit drawings, words, guesses, or any content that is illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, or hateful.
- Harass, bully, or abuse other players.
- Attempt to circumvent content moderation or safety controls.
- Use automated tools, bots, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access our source code.
- Resell, transfer, or commercially exploit the app or its content.
- Impersonate DoodleMania, its team, or other users.
4. Moderation & Enforcement
DoodleMania operates automated and manual moderation on custom word packs and reported content. Reports cause immediate temporary muting. Depending on severity, violations may result in feature restriction, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict a session, profile, or device at our discretion.
5. In-App Purchases
Plus, Boost the Room, and Seasonal Pack purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and governed by their respective Terms of Service. The storefront shows the localized price before purchase. Refunds are handled under the platform refund policies. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
6. Intellectual Property
The DoodleMania app, its design, word packs, art, and all other content are owned by or licensed to DoodleMania. You retain ownership of original drawings you create, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, transmit, and temporarily display them as needed to operate live gameplay and moderation. You must not upload content that infringes third-party rights.
7. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE CONTINUOUS, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE ACCESS TO THE APP. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OR ACTIONS OF OTHER USERS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOODLEMANIA'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.
9. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to resolve any disputes with us individually; class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
